Terms & Conditions
1. Service Agreement
Laundraywalla Dry Cleaning Services ("Company," "We," "Us") provides professional
laundry and dry cleaning services subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
By utilizing our services, customers ("You," "Customer") agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Item Verification and Count
- Both parties must inspect and count all garments at the time of pickup/drop-off.
- Any discrepancies must be reported immediately at the service location.
- If no objection is raised at pickup, the Company's count and condition assessment shall be deemed accurate and accepted by the Customer.
3. Collection Policy and Unclaimed Items
- Standard Collection Period: Items must be collected within 30 days of service completion.
- Extended Storage: After 30 days, additional storage fees of ₹50 per day may apply.
- Unclaimed Items: Items not collected within 90 days from service completion will be considered abandoned and may be:
- Donated to charitable organizations, or
- Disposed of at the Company's discretion.
- The Company shall not be liable for any unclaimed items after the specified period.
4. Service Timeline and Payment
- Processing Time: Minimum 72 hours required for washing, pressing, and dry cleaning services.
- Collection Cutoff: Items received after 7:00 PM will be processed the following business day.
- Payment Terms:
- Payment due upon delivery/collection.
- Accepted methods: Cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, bank transfers.
- All checks must be made payable to "Laundraywalla Dry Cleaning Services".
5. Service Quality and Limitations
The Company endeavors to maintain the highest service standards. However, we are not responsible for:
- Natural fabric characteristics including shrinkage, color fading, or texture changes during standard cleaning processes.
- Damage to garments with pre-existing wear, weak fibers, or manufacturing defects.
- Items left in pockets (money, jewelry, electronics, documents, etc.).
- Damage to decorative elements not designed for professional cleaning.
Note: The Company reserves the right to refuse service for items deemed unsuitable for our cleaning processes.
6. Loss and Damage Compensation
- Compensation will be calculated based on original purchase price (with proof), age, condition, and reasonable depreciation.
- Maximum liability: 10 times the service charge for the affected item.
- The Company's assessment of compensation value is final.
- Claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Force Majeure
- Natural disasters (fire, flood, earthquake, etc.)
- Acts of God
- Civil unrest or war
- Government actions or regulations
- Other circumstances beyond reasonable control
8. Delivery and Receipt
- Items will be released only upon presentation of the service receipt.
- In case of lost receipt, written identification and verification may be required.
- Customers are deemed to have approved the service upon delivery.
- Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of delivery.
9. Claims and Disputes
- All claims must be reported immediately upon discovery but no later than 48 hours after delivery.
- No claims will be entertained after Company representatives have left the premises without inspection.
- Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation.
10. Special Compensation Policy
- Misplaced Items: Compensation of 10 times the service charge will be provided if lost due to Company error.
- Material Damage: No compensation for tears or damage attributed to fabric quality or normal processing wear.
11. General Provisions
- These terms may be updated periodically with 30 days written notice.
- Any modifications must be agreed upon in writing.
- These terms are governed by Odisha, India jurisdiction laws.
- If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain in full effect.
